What Is an Affidavit?

An affidavit is a written statement of fact made under oath, legally binding and enforceable. When you sign an affidavit before a notary public, you are legally attesting that the contents are true to the best of your knowledge. Making a false statement in an affidavit is perjury.

Affidavits are commonly required in immigration applications, court proceedings, financial agreements, and estate matters. We ensure your affidavit is correctly prepared, complete, and accepted by the receiving agency.

Types of Affidavits We Prepare

Affidavit of Support (I-864)

Required for most family-based green card cases. The U.S. sponsor declares they will financially support the immigrant to ensure they do not become a public charge.

General Affidavit

A written sworn statement of fact for use in legal proceedings, immigration cases, or personal matters.

Affidavit of Relationship

Used to prove a family relationship in immigration proceedings where official documents are unavailable.

Affidavit of Identity

Confirms a person's identity when official identification is unavailable or when names differ across documents.

Notarization Services

We arrange notarization of any legal document requiring a notary public signature and seal for it to be legally valid.
