What Is an Apostille?
An apostille is a form of authentication issued to documents for use in countries that participate in the Hague Apostille Convention. It is the simplified alternative to full embassy legalization for member countries, currently over 125 nations including the U.S., UK, Germany, Spain, and many others.
The apostille is a government-issued certificate that verifies the authenticity of the signature, seal, or stamp on a document. It does not certify the content of the document itself, only that the signature or seal is genuine. We manage the complete process from submission to delivery.
Note: Nigeria is not currently a Hague Convention member. Documents intended for use in Nigeria require embassy legalization rather than an apostille. We handle both processes.

Our Process
Document Review

If the document is not already notarized, we arrange notarization as the first step in the chain.
Secretary of State Submission
We submit the document to the issuing state's Secretary of State office for apostille certification.
U.S. Department of State (federal documents)
For federally issued documents (e.g., FBI background checks, federal court records), we process through the U.S. Department of State.
